Hello, I’m Luna! 👋
Seasonal Cooking is My Love Language
I’m Luna Sterling, the seasonal cooking enthusiast behind TempoTaste. My kitchen is where fresh ingredients meet perfect timing, creating meals that celebrate each season’s unique gifts. From my farmhouse kitchen in Vermont, I share recipes that honor nature’s rhythm while fitting into our busy modern lives.

From City Restaurants to Country Kitchen
My culinary journey began in the bustling kitchens of Boston, where I spent five years as a sous chef at award-winning restaurants. But something was missing – the connection to ingredients, to seasons, to the natural rhythm of cooking that my grandmother had taught me during summers at her Vermont farm.
In 2015, I made the leap from city life to rural Vermont, inheriting my grandmother’s farmhouse and her philosophy: “Cook with what the earth gives you, when she gives it to you.” That first spring, as I watched asparagus push through the soil and ramp season begin, I finally understood what she meant.
TempoTaste was born from this revelation – that the best cooking happens when we align ourselves with nature’s timing. Here, I share recipes that celebrate peak seasonality while respecting our modern need for efficiency and flavor. Every dish tells the story of its season.
My Kitchen
Seasonal First
I build every recipe around what’s naturally at its peak. Spring asparagus, summer tomatoes, fall squash – ingredients taste best when they’re in season.
Purposeful Speed
Great food doesn’t require endless hours. I focus on techniques that maximize flavor while respecting your time and energy.
Shared Joy
Food brings us together. Whether it’s a quick weeknight dinner or a slow Sunday feast, every meal is an opportunity to connect.
