A creamy, dreamy dessert made with banana pudding, whipped topping, marshmallows, and vanilla wafers. Perfect for gatherings or satisfying your sweet tooth.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 23 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 (5 oz) box instant banana pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 (8 oz) tub whipped topping, thawed
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup vanilla wafers, crushed
  • Optional garnish: Fresh banana slices or crushed wafers

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk the instant banana pudding mix with 2 cups of cold milk for about 2 minutes until smooth and slightly thickened. Let it sit for 5 minutes to fully set.
  2. Gently fold the thawed whipped topping into the pudding using a spatula. Be careful not to overmix—you want it light and fluffy.
  3. Stir in the mini marshmallows until evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
  4. Slice the bananas into thin rounds and gently fold them into the pudding mixture. To prevent browning, you can toss them in a little lemon juice beforehand.
  5. Place the wafers in a zip-top bag and crush them lightly with a rolling pin or your hands. Fold half into the pudding mixture and reserve the rest for topping.
  6. Transfer the mixture into a serving dish or trifle bowl. Sprinkle the remaining crushed wafers on top and garnish with fresh banana slices if desired. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to chill and set.

Notes

Use ripe but firm bananas for the best flavor. Toss banana slices in lemon juice to prevent browning. Chill the salad for at least an hour before serving for optimal texture and flavor.
