Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Peel, pit, and slice peaches into roughly 1/2-inch thick wedges. Toss with granulated sugar, brown sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Let sit while preparing the topping.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Add milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Stir gently until just combined; batter should be thick but pourable.
