A quick and easy flatbread featuring grilled peaches, creamy burrata cheese, and a drizzle of honey for a perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 store-bought flatbread or naan (810 inches diameter)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for brushing the bread)
  • 2 ripe peaches, halved and pitted
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil (to brush the peach halves)
  • 4 ounces burrata cheese
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • Fresh basil leaves, torn (optional)
  • Pinch of flaky sea salt
  • Freshly cracked black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill or grill pan to medium-high heat (about 400°F).
  2. Brush peach halves lightly with olive oil to prevent sticking.
  3. Place peaches cut-side down on the grill and grill for 3-4 minutes until grill marks appear and peaches soften slightly.
  4. Flip peaches and grill skin side for another 2 minutes. Peaches should smell sweet and have a bit of char but still hold their shape.
  5. Brush both sides of the flatbread with olive oil.
  6. Place flatbread on the grill and toast for 1-2 minutes per side until golden and slightly crisp.
  7. Remove flatbread from grill and place on a serving board or plate.
  8. Tear grilled peaches into slices or chunks and scatter evenly over the flatbread.
  9. Tear burrata into pieces and dot across the top of the flatbread.
  10. Drizzle honey generously over the flatbread and peaches.
  11. Sprinkle flaky sea salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste.
  12. Add torn fresh basil leaves if using.
  13. Serve immediately, best enjoyed warm or at room temperature.

Notes

If burrata is unavailable, fresh mozzarella can be used but lacks the creamy center. For a dairy-free version, substitute burrata with coconut-based ricotta or nut cheese and use maple syrup instead of honey. Watch the grill closely to avoid burning peaches and flatbread. Use peaches that are firm but fragrant to avoid mushy texture. Flatbread can be swapped with naan, thin pita, or pre-baked pizza crust. For gluten-free, use gluten-free flatbread or cauliflower crust.
