A vibrant, no-cook breakfast board featuring fresh oranges, creamy Greek yogurt or ricotta, toasted nuts, granola, and a honey-cinnamon drizzle. Perfect for a wholesome, easy morning treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 34 medium fresh oranges, peeled and sliced (navel or blood oranges preferred)
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt or ricotta cheese (or dairy-free coconut yogurt)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • ½ cup mixed toasted nuts (almonds, walnuts, or pecans), roughly chopped
  • ½ cup granola (lightly sweetened oat granola recommended)
  • A small handful fresh mint leaves
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
  • Optional extras: dried cranberries or pomegranate seeds, sliced bananas

Instructions

  1. Peel and slice the oranges into ¼-inch (6 mm) thick rounds or segments, removing all white pith.
  2. Toast the mixed nuts in a dry skillet over medium heat for 3-5 minutes, stirring frequently until fragrant and lightly browned. Remove from heat and let cool.
  3. Spoon Greek yogurt or ricotta into a small bowl. Pour honey into another small bowl for drizzling.
  4. Arrange the cheese and honey bowls on a serving board or platter.
  5. Artfully arrange the orange slices around the bowls, overlapping slightly for a layered look.
  6. Sprinkle toasted nuts and granola over and around the oranges, filling gaps to add texture.
  7. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and optional dried cranberries or pomegranate seeds. Lightly dust orange slices with ground cinnamon.
  8. Just before serving, drizzle honey over the entire board.

Notes

Remove all white pith from oranges to avoid bitterness. Toast nuts carefully to avoid burning. Drizzle honey just before serving to keep sweetness fresh. Can be customized with seasonal fruits, dairy-free yogurts, or added proteins like hard-boiled eggs or smoked salmon. Store leftovers in airtight containers in the fridge for up to 2 days; assemble fresh for best texture.
