A quick and wholesome breakfast featuring rolled oats soaked overnight in cream and milk, combined with fresh ripe peaches for a naturally sweet and creamy start to your day.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (90g) old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 to 2 medium fresh ripe peaches, peeled and diced
  • ½ cup (120 ml) heavy cream
  • ½ cup (120 ml) milk (whole or 2%)
  • ¼ cup (60g) Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare the peaches by peeling (optional) and dicing into roughly ½-inch pieces. Set aside.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine rolled oats, chia seeds (if using), and a pinch of salt. Stir to mix evenly.
  3. Add heavy cream, milk, Greek yogurt, vanilla extract, and honey or maple syrup. Stir well until fully combined and oats are coated.
  4. Gently fold in the diced fresh peaches to distribute evenly.
  5. Spoon the mixture into individual mason jars or airtight containers, leaving space at the top. Seal tightly and refrigerate overnight or for at least 6 hours.
  6. The next morning, stir gently. Add a splash of milk if a thinner consistency is desired. Top with additional fresh peaches or toasted almonds if desired before serving.

Notes

Use rolled oats for best texture; avoid steel-cut or instant oats. For creamier oats, do not add too much liquid initially. If peaches release too much juice overnight, add some fresh peaches just before serving. Can be stored up to 3 days in the fridge. For dairy-free, substitute cream and milk with plant-based alternatives and use dairy-free yogurt.
