A refreshing and light mocktail combining floral rose syrup, sweet lychee, sparkling water, and fresh mint for a perfect balance of flavors. Easy to make and ideal for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup canned lychees, drained (or fresh lychees, peeled and pitted)
  • 2 tablespoons lychee syrup (from canned lychees or store-bought)
  • 1 tablespoon rose syrup (e.g., Rani Rose Syrup)
  • 1 cup (240 ml) sparkling water, chilled (preferably lightly carbonated like Perrier or LaCroix)
  • 810 fresh mint leaves, plus extra for garnish
  • 1 teaspoon freshly squeezed lime juice
  • Ice cubes or crushed ice as needed

Instructions

  1. Place 8-10 fresh mint leaves and 1/2 cup drained lychees into a mixing glass or shaker.
  2. Gently muddle the mint and lychee together using a muddler or wooden spoon for about 20 seconds to release oils and juices without over-muddling.
  3. Add 2 tablespoons lychee syrup, 1 tablespoon rose syrup, and 1 teaspoon fresh lime juice. Stir gently to combine.
  4. Fill a serving glass halfway with crushed or cubed ice.
  5. Slowly pour 1 cup chilled sparkling water over the ice and muddled mixture. Stir lightly to mix without flattening the bubbles.
  6. Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint and one or two whole lychees on a cocktail pick. Serve immediately.

Notes

Gently muddle mint to avoid bitterness. Use fresh mint leaves for best flavor. Choose lightly carbonated sparkling water to maintain delicate balance. Prepare muddled mixture ahead but add sparkling water just before serving to keep fizz fresh. Chill glass beforehand for a colder drink. Optionally strain muddled mixture for smoother texture.
