A bold, tangy, creamy dip with the perfect balance of sweet and spicy flavors, ideal for parties and gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 ounces fresh cranberries, rinsed and dried
  • 12 fresh jalapeños, seeds removed for less heat
  • 34 stalks green onions, chopped finely
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • Crackers or tortilla chips for serving

Instructions

  1. Rinse and dry the cranberries thoroughly. Place them in a food processor and pulse until finely chopped but not pureed.
  2. Slice the jalapeños, remove seeds if preferred, and add them to the food processor. Pulse until finely chopped.
  3. Transfer the chopped cranberries and jalapeños into a mixing bowl. Add chopped green onions, cilantro, lime juice, sugar, and salt. Stir until well combined. Taste and adjust for sweetness or spice as needed.
  4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate the mixture for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  5. Place the softened cream cheese in a separate bowl and stir until smooth. Spread the cream cheese evenly across the bottom of your serving platter.
  6. Spoon the cranberry mixture over the cream cheese layer and spread evenly. Garnish with extra cilantro if desired.
  7. Serve chilled with crackers, tortilla chips, or toasted baguette slices.
